Studio Sound at the Push of a Button

Standard home recordings and phone demos can often sound flat and thin. Volt 2 Gen 2 solves this by infusing your tracks with authentic analog character right at the input stage. Its dual Tone Shaping Preamps feature three switchable modes — Warmth, Focus, and Shine — letting you quickly introduce the rich harmonics of vintage Tube, Solid-State, and British Class-A console circuitry to any source you plug in.

Intelligent Level Control with Smart Display

Focus on your creative performance rather than tweaking knobs. Volt 2 Gen 2 introduces a vibrant, full-color Smart Display that provides instant visual metering and status updates. Combined with onboard Auto-Gain, the interface automatically detects your peak levels and dials in optimal gain in seconds, while integrated Clip Protection prevents sudden volume spikes from ruining a flawless take.

Effortless Multi-Input Tracking & Streaming

With two combination XLR/TRS inputs and dedicated front-panel Hi-Z instrument jacks, Volt 2 Gen 2 allows you to record vocals alongside a guitar, capture acoustic instruments with stereo microphone configurations, or record stereo synthesizers directly. For content creators and broadcasters, the built-in Loopback routing seamlessly merges microphone inputs with background music, gaming audio, or video sound, bringing broadcast-grade signal management to your setup.

Complete Production Ecosystem

Every Volt 2 Gen 2 includes a curated collection of world-class UAD plug-ins, giving you direct access to classic EQs, legendary compressors, guitar amplifiers, and virtual instruments used on hit records worldwide. Additionally, you get LUNA — Universal Audio's award-winning DAW designed to deliver an authentic "big studio" analog workflow right inside your computer.
